Marie Wez is a multi-disciplinary artist working across the fields of art, fashion
and culture.

While creating narratives that often nudge on cultural, environmental and social
issues, the layers of her practice are more than often interwoven, informing each
other through a careful, sensible approach. The result is an ode to craftsmanship
and community that feels raw yet refined, emotional and poetic, ultimately
exploring what it means to be human.

After a longstanding professional relationship with Berlin-based VooStore, where
Wez previously worked as Project Manager and Head of Archive, she is currently
working freelance across Europe with a variety of clients including Indie Magazine,
Safelight Paper, Soho House Berlin, Design Hotels, Polaroid, FRAMA, Diesel and Simuero.

Her professional practice includes Art Direction and Styling, Brand Consulting and
Visual Direction, Copywriting, Writing and Brand Language, Curation and Creative Production,
Content Creation and Social Media Consulting.

In her creative practice as a writer, artist and poet she is currently engaged in research exploring the intersection of textile, language and socio-political dynamics while writing her newsletter In the Palm of Dawn. 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design.
